The Bournemouth Sunseeker Winter Rally was the first of the Mintex National Group A rally series and included 15 stages, mainly gravel forest stages well known to Trevor e.g. Barnsfield, Plumley Wood, Ebblake, St Leonards etc . Trevor was navigated by Ian Harrop but things ground to a halt due to mechanical problems in SS6 Ebblake.
